We all know that the best parties end in the kitchen. In Sherlock’s Talking Kitchen, they even start there. In the cozy residential kitchen on the 4th floor of the Gästeresidenz PelikanViertel, amateur chefs and their guests come together to conjure up great menus. Reserve our large kitchen for a social gathering or plan your next cooking event with us.
The Talking Kitchen is the focal point of our hotel and a social meeting place. It is the perfect place for networking and socializing and a great way to meet new people, especially for guests who are new to the city. Whether as a team event or with friends, for special occasions or just for fun, an evening at the Talking Kitchen in Hanover brings everyone together.
The usage fee for Sherlock's Talking Kitchen is 200,00 €/day. In addition, we charge a further €5 per person as a deposit for the kitchen inventory, which will be refunded upon full return.
Modern kitchen equipment is available, including all necessary utensils, as well as a cozy dining area to share your home-cooked meal. A list of the equipment can be found in German at the following link.
You can rent Sherlock's Talking Kitchen in Hanover for as few as three people and have a wonderful evening all to yourself. And if the group grows, no problem. We can accommodate up to 38 hobby cooks. So: Get your cooking crew together and book your evening with us. All you have left to do is the grocery shopping.

If you want to cook together with 3 to 38 people in Hanover, you can rent our Talking Kitchen. Whether you are a resident of the PelikanViertel or an external guest, everyone is welcome.
When the contract has been signed by both parties at the reception, you have paid the rental fee and we have received the deposit in cash on site. You will then receive the key to the kitchen.
A small supply of spices and oils, cleaning supplies and packaging materials are available for use in the Talking Kitchen. Other food items must be provided by the participants.
We ask for your understanding that bringing your own beverages is not allowed. Please choose from our beverage list (available in German) and return it to us at least one week before the event. These cannot be charged as consumed. Additional orders and smaller orders can be picked up at the bar on the day of the event.
We ask that you leave the kitchen in a neat, clean and complete state and take any leftover food with you.
You will receive your deposit back from the reception team the day after the cooking event, following a cleaning inspection by Dr. Watson, as long as the inventory and kitchen are left in a complete and clean condition.
